Exordium means the beginning of anything. Its to assume that from reading this you will have now learnt something. Good! That is out of the way, its time to relax and write!
To register the name for this blog took 2 weeks, to think of a name took 5 days, to get it together to write this first blog took 2 days. Hopefully, writing this blog will take a few hours. The idea for this collaboration arose from the parallel thoughts of two recent university graduates. The thought stream was to use a blog to converge knowledge, based on what we read, and experience, based on what we do, to allow others to learn.
As for the title, after a few glasses of wine at the company Christmas party, it was decided that business is...well..simple. Although we can argue that fact later, don't misunderstand and assume that this implies ease. More on this later...
Thus, we will have a combination of book, audiobook and article reviews as well as sharing our experiences from the fields of consulting and private equity. I hope you enjoy what will come of this, even if the only people that ever read this happen to be our mothers! (HI MOM!)
